Capital gains could lead to big month...
Loan striker Gary McSheffrey is targeting Saturday's trip to Leyton Orient as a potential platform for a successful month for Leeds United.
United head for London on Saturday ahead of run of a three home matches. February also brings a trip to Huddersfield before games against Tranmere Rovers and Brentford, and United are facing a big month in the promotion battle.
"We've got six big league games and if we can get a result at Orient with three home games coming up we can have a good month," said McSheffrey. "And if we have a good month it can set us up.
"We have to look at this and take as many points as we can, but do it in a game-by-game way.
"There is an opportunity there for us if we concentrate on each game and try and win each one.
"We played good football on my debut against Colchester and when we play like that...
"It's important we don't get sucked in to the hustle and bustle of games. We have to win the battle and play the football we can play.
"It's a big game wherever we go, but we have to block that out, see out the first 10 or 15 minutes, get the ball down, and show we are good players.
"I saw Orient on Sky when they beat Charlton the other week. They look a decent team, and they'll be up for it.
"It'll be a difficult game but we're looking forward to it."
