Casper Ankergren saves the penalty against Tottenham

United's penalty saving hero Casper Ankergren wasted little time in turning his attention to Tuesday's game at Swindon Town, despite the high of the weekend draw at Tottenham.

The big Dane made a string of early saves at White Hart Lane, including a penalty from the boot of Jermain Defoe, before Jermaine Beckford struck twice for Leeds, securing a dramatic draw and an Elland Road replay with a spot-kick in the 95th minute of the game.

"It felt really good on Saturday," said Casper. "I felt really pleased for the supporters who were amazing.

"We needed a positive result after our last three games, but the preparation for Tuesday started right now.

"When you get a good result, a couple of days later you have to be at it again, and we have to be professional.

"We enjoyed it on Saturday, but you start thinking about Swindon and that is an important game for us now.

"If we'd have lost 2-1 there were still a lot of positives to take, but we got the draw so..."

It was the second time this season Leeds have rocked Premier League opponents on their own turf. Simon Grayson's side have already sent Manchester United spinning out of the FA Cup, and Spurs must now head north for a replay with a tie at Bolton awaiting the winner.

"It was just great enjoyment on Saturday," said Casper.

"I love playing in big stadiums in front of big crowds. I really enjoyed it. I really love the big games - this is why you play, It's what you dream of.

"On Saturday it was about copying what we did against Man United in the last round. It's basic things such as working hard, running for each other, putting your foot in and being clinical. It's basic stuff, but it isn't always that easy.

"I said before that they wouldn't underestimate us and I don't think they did, and they certainly wont at Elland Road in the replay."

Saturday's result came on the back of a run that had seen two defeats and a draw since the Man United, and Casper added: "It shows if you don't put in the right performance you can lose against anyone.

"We struggled against Kettering earlier in the competition because we didn't do the right things and we haven't done the right things in the last couple of league games, but hopefully we can turn that around."
