Bradley Johnson battles against Man U

An emotional Bradley Johnson believes he fulfilled every schoolboy's dream when he was part of the Leeds side which beat Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Brad, who came close to scoring a second goal for Simon Grayson's men, said: "Every young boy has a dream like this.

"To come here and get a result like that is an achievement.

"We couldn't wait to see their team when we got there and when we saw the likes of Rooney and Berbatov up front it gave us a buzz - but it didn't change the fact we had gone to there to try and win game.

"We've done well in the league, and anything can happen in the FA Cup, and we've proved that by the way we played and the result we got.

"We gave it our all until the final whistle. Football is a weird game because on another day they could turn us over five or six, but we went there confident and got the result.

"The gaffer said the night before we hadn't won there for 29 years and I'm delighted to have been in the team has done it."

And Bradley, like his Leeds team-mates, is hoping that Sunday's victory re-enforced the view that the club is firmly on its way back.

"We want people to think we are coming back," he said.

"We want to get out of this league this year.

"Sir Alex said he'd like to see us back in the Premier League in two years and I think we can do that."

Brad picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on Sunday, but the cut-off point for five yellow cards was December 31 and players must now collect 10 bookings - before Sunday April 11 - if they are to serve a one-game ban.
