United manager gives his verdict on Stockport success...
Leeds United manager Simon Grayson hailed his side's battling qualities after coming from behind to beat Stockport County 4-2 on Monday.
Leeds moved eight points clear of second-placed Charlton after overcoming a 2-1 deficit to pick up a hard fought three points at Stockport.
Robert Snodgrass had given Leeds a quick-fire lead on a tricky Edgeley Park surface, but it took second half goals from Jermaine Beckford (2) ad Leigh Bromby to secure the victory.
"It was an entertaining game for people to watch," said the Leeds boss. "There were plenty of goals and plenty of incidents.
"It was one of those games where we had to fight and scrap for everything, and we had to find another dimension to our game.
"We tried to play as much as we could, but they caused us a few problems.
"The pitch wasn't easy, but I know they worked hard to get the game on so there's no complaints from me.
"The referee deemed it playable, we won the game, and that's all that matters to me.
"These are the places you have to come and win and I'm delighted it all worked out."
