Paddy Kisnorbo celebrates his equaliser at Millwall

Paddy Kisnorbo was delighted to return to the Leeds United side at Brentford on Saturday - now he is targeting cup success in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The Australian international returned to the heart of the Leeds defence for Saturday's 0-0 stalemate at Griffin Park, making his first appearance since suffering a knee injury against Leyton Orient at Elland Road last month.

"It was fantastic to be back," said Paddy. "It was great to be a part of it and play 90 minutes again.

"I suppose I did gain a little bit in terms of coming back, but all's okay and I just want to play every game now.

"The team have done well, though. We haven't been losing and the guys who have come in have done a fantastic job."

The central defender is now hoping to feature on Tuesday as Leeds look to progress through to the Area Final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy by beating Accrington Stanley in the semi-final at Elland Road.

"Tuesday won't be easy, but we take it game by game," he said.

"Once you're in a competition like this you want to win it. We're definitely going into it to win the game and do as well as we can in the cup.

"If we can get ourselves to Wembley it would be a fantastic achievement and if we can win a trophy it'll be fantastic.

"Every cup is a bonus. You want to win every game you play and you have to use that to your advantage.

"We're trying to make our place a fortress. They will see it as their big day on Tuesday, but we have to play against that every week, so we know every game is hard."
