Martin joins on loan deal...
Liverpool goalkeeper David Martin has joined Leeds United on loan until December 28.
The 23-year-old provides added cover for Casper Ankergren while Shane Higgs makes his recovery from a thigh injury.
Martin, son of former West Ham defender Alvin, hasn't played a competitive game for Liverpool, but he has no shortage of senior experience.
He made 25 appearances for his first club MK Dons before joining Liverpool three years ago.
He has since had loan spells with Accrington and Leicester, and he featured 25 times for the Foxes last season, including their Boxing Day trip to Elland Road. This season he has featured three times for Tranmere Rovers.
United manager Simon Grayson said: "David has plenty of experience for a young goalkeeper and he comes in at important time. It's a busy period and it's important we have the goalkeepers here who can step in."
