Leeds United are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Bell to the position of Director of Commercial Affairs.

Paul, 35, was previously Commercial Director at Portsmouth Football Club and will take up his new position on January 4 and assume responsibility for the club's commercial, sponsorship, advertising and marketing operations.

Chief Executive Shaun Harvey said: "With the club's prospects on the field looking good for the future we felt the time was right to strengthen our off field commercial operations to support those ambitions.

"We are delighted that Paul has agreed to join Leeds United and anticipate that he will bring a new dimension to our activities, strengthening our position locally, nationally and internationally.

"I look forward to introducing Paul to our principle sponsors in the early weeks of his employment."
