Young defender Andrew Milne has joined Darlington on a youth loan until January 2.

The 19-year-old links up with former United assistant manager Steve Staunton at the League Two club.

Milne, a product of the club's Academy system, featured for the first team squad during pre-season, making his debut at York City.

He has also made five appearances in the reserves this season, but has yet to make a competitive appearance with the first team.
