On loan winger delighted to stay on at Leeds...
Winger Max Gradel is delighted to extend his loan stay at Leeds United - and is hoping his longer-term future will come under review at the turn of the year.
Leicester City have allowed the 21-year-old to extend his stay at Leeds until January 2 and Max, who has wasted little time in making an impression on the Elland Road crowd, is relishing the prospect of more time with United.
"I'm very happy to be back here," said Max, whose initial loan spell came to an end at the start of the week.
"Leeds asked Leicester, and Leicester didn't say no, so I'm really happy.
"Leicester thought it was best for me, and best for me to keep playing first team football.
"I haven't spoken with the Leicester manager, but I hope to speak to him in January to see what options are available to me.
"I don't know what will happen, but I want to play first team football and we'll talk about it in January, and see what the best thing is.
"It's Leicester's decision and we'll see, but I need to do what's best for me at the moment."
With one man of the match display and one goal coming from his five appearances, Max has settled in quickly at the club.
"The manager, the staff, and the players have helped me settle down quickly and I'm enjoying it here," he added.
"I need to get more confidence and get my fitness levels high, and I'm looking to keep on going now.
"We have a lot of games coming up that we have to be ready for, and I'm looking forward to things."
