Rob Snodgrass battles with Bristol Rovers' David Pipe

Leeds United will head for Bristol Rovers on Tuesday (7.45pm) aiming to banish that rare feeling of defeat.

The club's unbeaten start to the League One campaign came to an end at Millwall on Saturday at the 13th time of asking, but Simon Grayson's men have had little time to dwell on what might have been.

The squad remained in the south, following Saturday's defeat, in order to prepare for Tuesday's trip to the Memorial Stadium.

"It was very disappointing to lose on Saturday, particularly with the goals we conceded," said Robert Snodgrass.

"Sometimes it doesn't go for you, and I thought a point would have been about right.

"We worked really hard, but there wasn't a lot of clear-cut chances, and we'll be looking to make things right on Tuesday."

Defeat at Millwall saw United fall one game short of equalling the 13-game unbeaten run achieved by Dennis Wise's side at the start of the 2007/08 season - but manager Simon Grayson and his players have every reason to be proud of a start that has seen the club secure pole position in the promotion race.

"It is a good record," said Snodgrass. "There's been a few games where we've not played as well as we can and come away with the points, and that's not a bad sign.

"Last year when that happened we came away with nothing from games so that is the sign of a winning side.

"It's a good sort of pressure we're under. There's no game going to be easy. We have to rise to the challenge, and maybe we didn't do that on Saturday.

"We've had a few days together now, and let's get that nasty feeling out of our system. Millwall is a hard place to come, but if we want to get three points we have to tidy a few things up.

"On Tuesday, Bristol Rovers will come at us like Millwall did and we have to stand up and be counted.

"We cannot  think about defeats. We think about three points and picking up as many points as we can get.

"If we're going to go again - which we are - we need to keep that solidness."
