United midfielder on the strong squad ethic...
Midfielder Neil Kilkenny has spoken of the strong squad ethic that exists among the Leeds United players.
The former Arsenal youngster has yet to start a game this season after missing out on pre-season due to injury, but the 23-year-old has stepped off the substitutes bench and is very much a key member of Simon Grayson's squad.
"The lads have done well and you don't expect to go in the team when they are doing well," Killa told LUTV.
"We're winning games and they have done well.
"I can't speak for other players, but I've been injured and when players come in and do well and win you can't expect to come in."
The team selection of Simon Grayson has been consistent and it's telling that only 12 players have been used in his starting line-ups over the course of the first five games of the season. That is the fewest number since 2002 and is eight less than last season.
"He's brought consistency to the club," said Killa.
"He likes to play good football, but with the players you can see consistency with our performances and with the team.
"You know that if you play and you win you will stay in the team and that's important to players. Everyone knows where they stand.
"You have to say the lads have done well, and I think we will do well the season."
Like his fellow squad members, Killa knows everyone will have a part to play as United look to maintain the fine start to the season.
"It's a long season, we have a strong squad here, and hopefully we can keep winning games," he added.
"Maybe in some games we haven't been unbelievably good, but winning is all that matters because it takes us a step closer to promotion.
"If you go through the whole squad, individually everyone could play in the Championship. You only have to look at some of the players being linked to other clubs which says something about what we have here.
"Everyone will play a part and our aim is to get promoted this season."
