No time to switch off for goalkeeper...
United goalkeeper Shane Higgs is the first to admit he has not had the busiest of times so far this season - but the summer signing is staying firmly focused on the task in hand.
While Shane has impressed with collecting crosses and with his kicking, he also served a timely reminder of his shot-stopping abilities when, after a quiet 89 minutes, he pulled off a terrific save in the final minute of last weekend's win at Wycombe.
"People see goalkeepers maybe not having much to do in games, but you are mentally tuned in through the game," he said.
"As much as you might not be seen to do a great deal, you have to take crosses, kicks, and keep switched on throughout the game.
"The defence is strong as has been proved so far. The two goals we've conceded have been a free-kick and a penalty so it shows we're not giving the opposition many chances.
"It's not just the back-four, it's the team as a whole who are defending well."
Shane ended his long association with Cheltenham Town during the summer to become a summer signing for Simon Grayson.
The Oxford-born goalkeeper spent much of last season on loan at Wolves, but he had been a permanent fixture in the Cheltenham team prior to that, and the move to Leeds was his first permanent switch as a professional.
And he admits settling in to the new environment has been easy enough.
"I'd played against some of the lads here, but they are a really good bunch and there is a good spirit," he said.
"There is a lot of talent here and it is recognised by a lot of people.
"I knew Leeds were a good team, but we have to maintain the start we have had now."
