United manager hails Walsall victory...
United manager Simon Grayson hailed the belief being shown by his team after Tuesday's dramatic 2-1 victory at Walsall.
Leeds scored twice in the final eight minutes to secure all three points at the Banks's Stadium after earlier falling behind to a penalty.
Goals from Bradley Johnson and Jermaine Beckford sent almost 4,000 travelling United fans wild with delight as Leeds made it three successive victories to open up the league campaign.
"It was entertaining finish," said a delighted manager. "The second half was quite open, and I thought we played well.
"I said at half-time I didn't think we'd done a lot wrong. We just needed a little bit more to get the goal to get ourselves in front.
"But the way it panned out we conceded with a penalty. The lad went into the box and Rui didn't stay on his feet. I'm not going to criticise because I thought we defended well throughout, it was just one of things.
"It was frustrating because we had played well. We just needed that bit extra to break them diown because they were organised, determined, and hard working.
"But we kept going. They have a belief in this team that even when they go behind they can get something and everyone could see that belief.
"When you have the quality we have, you have to have the desire and determination in the team, and we showed that.
"We can go to the bigger stages and perform, but promotions can be won and lost at places like Wycombe and Walsall.
"We lost here last season, but we showed the right attitude and desire on Tuesday to make sure that didn't happen this time. Full credit to everyone."
