Defending totesport.com East League champions Leeds United reserves will be battling it out with Middlesbrough and Newcastle this coming season.

The former Premiership duo will strengthen the league for the new campaign as Neil Thompson's men look to mount a successful defence of the title.

United reserves start with a trip to Grimsby Town on Tuesday August 25 and the home campaign kicks off on September 8 against Rotherham.

Middlesbrough away is next up on Wednesday September 16 while Newcastle United visit Elland Road on Tuesday November 10 for a 7pm kick-off.

The annual derby games against Bradford City take place on Tuesday October 27, at Bradford, and on Tuesday February 2 at Elland Road.

The season is scheduled to end on Tuesday April 20 with an Elland Road visit from Middlesbrough.

Once again, all Elland Road matches will be screened live on LUTV. Extended highlights will be available of games not at Elland Road.
