Leeds United Academy are holding a number of courses for aspiring footballers during the summer holidays.

The club will be holding outfield and goalkeeping Open Trials and a two-day summer coaching course at the club's Thorp Arch training ground.

Each course will take place over two days and is open to boys aged 6 to under 15 years and will be of a high intensity, working with Academy Coaches on a variety of drills.

An Open Trial for older age players is also being held at Thorp Arch in August, specifically for players aged 15 to 19. The purpose of the course is to identify potential players for the Academy.

The Academy has also organised summer coaching courses in York and Belfast.

The York course will take place over two days and is open to boys aged 6 to 14 years and will be of a high intensity, working with Academy Coaches.

The course will take place on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 July 2009 at the following venue: PLAY FOOTBALL, STIRLING ROAD, YORK, YO30 4TU

Each day the course will commence at 10.00am and finish at 3.00pm.
