Simon Grayson and staff continue to cast the net...
United manager Simon Grayson says he and his staff are continuing to cast their scouting nets around as they plan for the future.
A number of players have trained with the club on a trial basis over the past few months, and the latest arrival, central defender Babajide Ogunbiyi has played in American's MSL and has also featured for the Nigerian Olympic side.
Striker Mike Grella arrived in similar circumstances some weeks ago, and the manager says he and his staff will continue to assess available talent.
"We've got a group we feel is good enough, but that doesn't stop us looking around and planning ahead for next season," said the manager.
"We take trialists on a regular basis. You can't really lose with something like that.
"We did it with Mike Grella, and he has turned out to be a good member of our squad at this moment in time.
"If there are others who are willing to come over and play a few reserve games then we'll have a look.
"If we can unearth a couple who go on to do well it's testament to the coaching staff and scouting staff."
