Robbo leaves his winner to the imagination...
Goal hero Andy Robinson says he is leaving his match-winning strike against Hartlepool to peoples imagination.
Robbo secured our place in the last 16 of the Carling Cup with a terrific strike after cutting in from the right flank.
His effort left Hartlepool goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett with no chance and proved enough to secure a last-gasp 3-2 victory.
But was it a shot or a cross?
"I went upstairs after the game and did the man of the match award, and I was asked same question," he laughed.
"My answer was that I'll leave it to the imagination and I'm sticking by that. I'll let people sleep on it.
"I got in a position where I could make a shot/cross, cross/shot, and it went in the back of the net. I'll take it.
"Was it genius or pure luck? I don't know, but one thing I do know is it saved us from extra-time and put us in the next round."
United came from behind twice in the contest as Hartlepool gave another good account of themselves at Elland Road.
"We got out of a bit of a mess," conceded Robbo. "We can be proud of that because they are a tough tream to play against.
"We've gone five games unbeaten now and hopefully we can take that into Saturday."
