Leeds United Conference & Events is seeking to recruit a Staff Management assistant to assist the Staffing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity, working for a well known business in a fast paced environment.

Duties would include:
Organising and keeping up to date the employee files and records.
Managing staff accreditation and uniform.
Planning shifts and checking staff in and out.
Collating payroll information and liaising with the Clubs’ payroll team.
Assisting with ongoing casual employee recruitment and welfare.
Assisting with ongoing training and development programmes.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of Microsoft office applications including Excel and Word, must be able to work well under pressure and have a keen eye for detail. 

This role would include working ALL home match fixtures which are usually Saturdays and occasionally mid week evenings together with attendance at some other key functions and events evenings throughout the year.

This role would be up to 30 hours per work

Bar / Cellar Person for Leeds United Conference & Events

This is a great opportunity for someone to join our very enthusiastic off the field ‘team’ in our very busy Conference & Events business.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Bars Manager and be responsible for maintaining stock levels in all our bars, ensuring that bars, cellars and storage areas are kept orderly at all times, that all official and company health and safety regulations are adhered to and that delivery of stock is managed effectively.

The role will be on a zero hours basis, as and when required, but we would expect that it will require between 15 and 40 hours per week, business dependent. Evening and weekend shifts will be required.

Leeds United Conference & Events are seeking Match Day Managers for our Ground Catering activity.

We are seeking to appoint a small number of individuals who will take ‘ownership’ of the match day operation within our retail catering division.

The role will entail managing a small number of kiosk outlets selling a range of fast food products, hot and cold drinks and alcohol.

The key skills required will be the ability to communicate with the sales operatives, manage the control of stock and stock transfers within the area and manage the cash in addition to offering vision, motivation and the ability to deliver basic on the job training.

We would expect the successful applicants to be available all weekend and mid week evening match days and, on other occasions for preparation days, training and so forth.

NO CATERING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY but we would expect you to be able to demonstrate management and motivation skills together with a cool head.

A very competitive rate of pay will be offered in return for your commitment.

Matchday vacancies

Matchday hospitality waiting staff
Role: Matchday hospitality waiting staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-matchday work
Age requirements: 16 +
Experience required: Previous waiting experience and/or silver service skills is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Waiting staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures serving matchday corporate guests food.
Hospitality staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance. 

Match day hospitality bar staff
Role: Matchday hospitality bar staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-matchday work
Age requirements: 18 +
Experience required: Previous bar experience advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
Bar staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures taking orders and serving Match day hospitality guests drinks. This role can include the exchange of monies and till usage.
Hospitality staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance. 

Match day retail catering staff
Role: Match day Retail Catering staff are required to work all home fixtures within the stadium on a Match day. To work non Match day role extra training sessions must be attended.
Age requirements: 16+ (limited areas for under 18’s)
Experience Requirement: None (Training given)
Matchday retail staff work in the kiosks and bar outlets situated around the stadium serving Match day General ticket holders. Retail staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude. The Uniform for Retail is more informal (Leeds United t-shirt and fleece)

Matchday retail team leader
Role: Matchday Retail Team leaders are required to work all home fixtures (longer shift than standard retail staff).
Age requirements: 18+
Experience requirement: Previous bar supervisory skills and required alongside a good knowledge of cellar and staff management (please note retail team leaders are paid an enhanced rate of pay for the increased responsibility)

Match day kitchen porter
Role: Matchday kitchen porters are required to work all home fixtures in the kitchens. Non Matchday work is available
Age requirements: 16 +
Experience required: No previous kitchen work required. Full Training will be given. All Kitchen staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude.

Matchday cash office
Role:
Matchday staff are required to work all home fixtures in the cash office.
Age requirements: 16+
Experience Required: No previous experience within a cash office required. Full training will be provided. All staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have good team working skills and a good attitude.

Matchday hospitality manager
Role: Matchday hospitality managers will be required to work all home fixtures and have the chance to work other non matchday shifts. You will be responsible for the efficient and effectiveness of the operational staff, as well as ensuring high customer satisfaction from every match/event you run.
Age requirements: 18+
Experience required: Previous experience in functions and events as well as leading a large and diverse team.
