The Leeds United Foundation is a not for profit charity that works in partnership with the FA, Premier League, National Citizens Service and the Prince’s Trust. It provides programmes within the areas of education, disability, social inclusion/action, sports participation and health that positively impacts on the lives of over 30,000 local people every year.
The Leeds United Foundation are looking for a Senior Fundraiser to join our team. Your role will be to develop fundraising opportunities, ensure that the Leeds United Foundation is the organisation of choice for donors & supporters, build relationships with potential corporate supporters to deliver income and to be accountable for achieving income targets and accurately reporting on this.
We are looking for a confident & persuasive individual with the ability to influence those around them to make things happen. You will have a proven track record in generating new, lucrative business partnerships as well as growing revenue from existing partnerships. You will be able to successfully manage multiple projects & have the ability to see these projects through to fruition. You will be an innovative & creative problem solver, with experience in creating income generating ideas which you then turn into reality.

HOURS: 37.5 per week
LOCATION: Leeds, West Yorkshire
ESSENTIAL: Own car for business use


To develop fundraising opportunities in order to maximise income
To ensure that The Leeds United Foundation are the organisation of choice for donors and supporters
To build relationships with potential supporters to deliver income
To be accountable for achieving income targets for Fundraising and to accurately report on this


To develop and implement fundraising opportunities that sit in line with the overall fundraising strategy
To lead, inspire and motivate clients and supporters
To build and develop corporate partnerships across the region
To actively contribute to achieving income targets to budget and manage resources to achieve its goals
To provide all necessary feedback on fundraising operation

External Relationships
To liaise with existing and potential supporters to ensure maximum awareness of The Leeds United Foundation and to develop potential fundraising opportunities
To develop a strong network of corporate contacts across the region

Working Team
To work closely with colleagues in the delivery of the fundraising strategy for the organisation
On occasion to interact with trustees and to involve them in the development of income generation strategies

• Experienced professional with a proven track record in delivering revenue
• Proven ability to develop and implement client relationships and maximise opportunities
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build relationships at all levels
• Track record of delivering results

Matchday Team Leader
We are currently recruiting for Team Leaders to work on all home match fixtures at Elland Road Stadium. You will be committed to delivering service excellence, have a “can do” attitude and maintain the highest level of professionalism.
You will work in our kiosks on matchdays and ensure your team provide an excellent level of service to all customers.
To effectively manage a small team.
To ensure the Kiosk is set up correctly in line with the Leeds United standards. 
To ensure that all staff are motivated and are providing a high level of service to all customers.
To ensure cash handling procedures are adhered to at all times in line with company policies and procedures.
To ensure all Health and Safety regulations are being followed.
To be the first point of contact for any escalation issues.
To ensure the standard of cleanliness in the Kiosk area are maintained in a hygienic and safe way.

Please note this position is a Matchday only role. Shifts are typically 7-8 hours long and generally fall on a Saturday and Tuesday evenings. Previous supervisory experience is essential.

Matchday Betting Cashiers / Assistant Managers

In-stadium betting operator BD stadia are looking to add to their team of part-time cashiers and assistant managers to assist in the processing of fans bets on match day at Leeds United FC.

Hours: On match days, 3-7 hours per match (weekends and evenings)

Rate of pay: £8.33 per hour

All applicants for assistant manager roles must have relevant experience.

As part of the BD Stadia in-stadium betting team, duties include:

-Processing cash bets from supporters in football stadiums prior to kick off 
-promoting the match day betting service and the relevant specials /promotions
-Cash handling and reconciling paperwork quickly and efficiently
-Delivering high levels of customer service and promoting brand awareness.

The successful candidates must be:

-Honest and reliable
-Professional and smart in appearance
-Available to work weekend and evening fixtures for the duration of the season, including over Christmas and Easter
-Able to converse in confidently in clear English
-Ideally experienced and strong in customer service and cash handling

Additional hours and responsibilities may be available to the right candidates
