Sales Assistants - Leeds United Club Shop
Full-time / part-time / weekend

Job Role

The main objective of the role is to support the store management team ensuring that the stores work is completed on time and to company standard.

Key Responsibilities 

Deliver a positive and friendly customer experience
Assisting customers to find products and give advice on product selection
Handle basic complaints
Replenishment of stock ensuring merchandise standards met
Till operations

Teamwork and communication 

Work productively within a team to achieve collaborative goals
Communicate effectively with peers
Be a positive, respectful and helpful team member

Required knowledge, skills and experience

Previous retail experience not essential
Strong communication skills
An awareness of our brand

Leeds United Academy: Lead Youth Development Phase Coach
Leeds United FC is seeking to recruit a passionate and professional minded Coach to work within our Category 2 Academy in the Youth Development Phase.

Working full-time at our Thorp Arch training ground, you will be responsible for:
 
- Overseeing the development of players in the U12 to U16 age groups, guiding them through the part-time and hybrid training models and preparing them for transition to the full-time Professional Development Phase
 
- Leading on the development of players in the U15 and U16 age groups by providing quality coaching in accordance with the Academy philosophy and coaching curriculum
 
- Managing a group of part-time coaches and ensuring adherence to the Academy philosophy and coaching curriculum
 
- Ensuring each player in the Youth Development Phase has an individual learning plan that is monitored and periodically reviewed
 
- Being familiar with all Academy policies and procedures
 
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary approach to player development as per the Academy Performance Plan
 
- Being fully conversant with the PMA, ensuring all player records, session planning and administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner

The successful applicant will be available to work across a number of evenings and regular weekends and will possess the following as a minimum;
 
- UEFA A licence
 
- The FA Youth Award
 
- An up to date FA BFAS qualification
 
- An FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
 
- A proven track record of working with players in an Academy environment
 
- Working knowledge of the EPPP framework
 
This role will require the applicant to have a current FA DBS Enhanced with Barred List Check for the Child Workforce Certificate before starting work. The successful applicant will be required to register onto the FA online update service.

2016/17 Matchday Vacancies

Matchday hospitality waiting staff
Role: Matchday hospitality waiting staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-matchday work
Age requirements: 16 +
Experience required: Previous waiting experience and/or silver service skills is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Waiting staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures serving matchday corporate guests food.
Hospitality staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance. 

Match day hospitality bar staff
Role: Matchday hospitality bar staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-matchday work
Age requirements: 18 +
Experience required: Previous bar experience advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
Bar staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures taking orders and serving Match day hospitality guests drinks. This role can include the exchange of monies and till usage.
Hospitality staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance. 

Match day retail catering staff
Role: Match day Retail Catering staff are required to work all home fixtures within the stadium on a Match day. To work non Match day role extra training sessions must be attended.
Age requirements: 16+ (limited areas for under 18’s)
Experience Requirement: None (Training given)
Matchday retail staff work in the kiosks and bar outlets situated around the stadium serving Match day General ticket holders. Retail staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude. The Uniform for Retail is more informal (Leeds United t-shirt and fleece)

Matchday retail team leader
Role: Matchday Retail Team leaders are required to work all home fixtures (longer shift than standard retail staff).
Age requirements: 18+
Experience requirement: Previous bar supervisory skills and required alongside a good knowledge of cellar and staff management (please note retail team leaders are paid an enhanced rate of pay for the increased responsibility)

Match day kitchen porter
Role: Matchday kitchen porters are required to work all home fixtures in the kitchens. Non Matchday work is available
Age requirements: 16 +
Experience required: No previous kitchen work required. Full Training will be given. All Kitchen staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude.

Matchday cash office
Role:
Matchday staff are required to work all home fixtures in the cash office.
Age requirements: 16+
Experience Required: No previous experience within a cash office required. Full training will be provided. All staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have good team working skills and a good attitude.

Matchday hospitality manager
Role: Matchday hospitality managers will be required to work all home fixtures and have the chance to work other non matchday shifts. You will be responsible for the efficient and effectiveness of the operational staff, as well as ensuring high customer satisfaction from every match/event you run.
Age requirements: 18+
Experience required: Previous experience in functions and events as well as leading a large and diverse team.
